Robert Asprin is dead.

I really enjoyed the Myth series in high school. I remember how upset I was when Asprin stopped writing because, damnit, I wanted to know what hapened next. What was up with the intellgent dragon plot. What was going to hapen to Skeeve.

When Asprin returned to writing the Myth series, I wasn't really paying attention. I picked up one of his newer books and thumbed through it, but for me, at least, the magic was gone.

And now, sadly, Asprin is dead. He passed away very unexpectedly, I gather. I feel badly for his family, and nostalgic for the work of the man himself.

Gah! Unsurprisingly the Myth series was a one of my faves during middle school and highschool. I can barely remember bits and pieces of it now, but at the time I thought it was damn funny. I also remember liking Phule's Company. "Ya gotta remember, kid, with my people's cooking, it's not so much keeping the food in your mouth as it is keeping the food in the bowl." *sigh* I am a grieving Crow, now.
