Signs Taken for Wonders

drydem and Amelia's wedding was just lovely. I'm consistently amazed by my friends' talents, whether it's sapphohestia's ability to sew a vest and coat with Batman lining for the groom or buzzermccain's ability to construct folklore-themed place settings on the fly.

drydem and Amelia, of course, are the sort of people who are great at bringing talented people together and prompting them to do wonderful, creative things. Now that they're united in marriage I fear their force for goodness may undermine my plans for multiverse domination. At least their counterattacks will be interesting.

I'd never been to a Quaker ceremony before, and I thought it was very moving. Amelia's dress was lovely, and drydem looked very spiffy in the aforementioned coat. And there was dancing! Then there was hanging out. In between seeing my B-town friends I also managed to see the multi-talented Mr. Parkes of CW '09, who impressed me with his improv skillz.

In short: a wonderful weekend.
