Ed Norton as a magician in 19C Vienna? Bring it on, I say.
The Illusionist was a pretty good film overall - not as "twisty and unpredictable" as some critics had claimed. The ending fell a bit flat for me, and made my inner deconstructionist want to tear the rest of the film to pieces. But it was fun. Go see it.
