Another day, another dead sorority girl in Bloomington. That's two strange deaths in a matter of weeks, both sorority girls in their early 20s, both complaining of feeling sick, both dying of unknown causes in the night. Christine Wampler had just attended a party and had had several drinks. Is it just me, or does this sound like someone's using a bad batch ofdate rape drugs?

Doesn't sound like a bad batch, just sounds like some dumbass adminstering GHB to girls drinking alcohol.

GHB, on it's own, is dangerous, but add alcohol to the mix and it can easily become fatal.

Fuckers.

I don't know that there's actually such a thing as a good batch of date-rape drugs. :(

One of the students in my class was at the formal and knew the girl in question. He said that there was no way it was alcohol poisoning.

It really sounds like GHB to me. GHB on it's own is dangerous. The correct dose one time can be a fatal dose the next. If you add even a smidgeon of alcohol, that chance goes up dramatically.

Yeah, but you'd think that the lab results on the first one would have come back by now. GHB isn't stealthy, as I understand it.

Actually, it's incredibly stealthy. GHB is much less noticeable than Rohypnol, which stays in the system for 72 hours.
