So the Breaking Bad finale was good, and gave us the ending Walt's trajectory had suggested. But damn. I admit to having hoped for a happier end than that.

Date: 2013-10-04 02:11 am (UTC)My disappointment isn't really with the storyline but with Walt -- dammit, I wanted the words "I'm sorry" to cross his lips in his conversations with Skyler & Jesse! But... he wasn't. He was sorry he'd lost his family, sorry people he cared about had been hurt, but not regretful for the decisions he'd made. I guess I'd expected (or maybe just hoped for) a more repentant Walt in the finale.
I also would have liked at least 5 mins more with Jesse. Poor Jesse. I'm going to take his box-making daydream as a real indicator of his future. If divine intervention could get Walt home, it can surely get Jesse to Alaska.
I mean, between all the fingerprints Jesse's got over that meth lab and the car blasting away from a massacre at 90 miles an hour, things wouldn't look good for Jesse if BB had a season 6. So I'm just going to assume that he gets clear and has a nice life. And runs into Flynn in Alaska one day, has a beer with him, & gives him a box from his new workshop.
