You know what I love about Live Journal?

LJ has no farm, or mafia, or any other 0 content games that take over your friends page

LJ doesn't have an endless number of fan groups, all trying to come up with something clever to put down other fan groups "can this pickle get more fans than your mom" etc...

LJ doesn't feel the need to tell me every time somebody on my friends list adds another person to their friends list

LJ gives me updates on what people are doing with their lives

LJ allows me write as much as I'd like in each entry

LJ lets people write comments on each entry, except you don't have to see them unless you want to

LJ is a way to upload and share pictures (though granted not in bulk)

LJ is a way to share news stories and interesting video links

LJ will let you see all of your friends updates on one page, without having to refresh, or click on most recent, or whatever

LJ doesn't change formats every few months, just for shits and giggles

LJ lets me use a different, or unique icon for each post, without changing every post to show the same icon.

LJ lets you easily navigate through past entries, so I can see what I was thinking 3 years ago today

LJ lets you favourite posts by other people, so you can see them in the future without a mad hunt for em

LJ is more about the content than the popularity
