Today I showed my SF students part one of the "BSG Classic" pilot. Then I showed them a clip from the reimagined BSG, in anticipation of us revisiting the show at the end of the course.
Then I went to my grad students and walked them through (ha!) de Certeau and Caleb Williams. About halfway through our discussion I realized that William Godwin must have time traveled and read Foucault and de Certeau before writing that book, because really, it's God's gift to theorists.
I really enjoy my job. Have I said that yet on this lj?
Like much of my f-list, I have a post to make about bullying, but I wanted to post about happy BSG - de Certeau moments first.
