And the SCA will tak over the earth!
Dec. 16th, 2006 04:35 pmI arrived back into V-city just in time for the massive west-coast power cut that's left us without electricity. *le sigh*
Dt Vancouver got back online fairly quickly (hence this post) but we're going into our second light-less night in our section of the North Shore. All of this has, of course, led to interesting experiments with candles, gas, and reassembled bits of Arabian walkmens. And our garden got completely trashed by the wind. (I'll see if I can get photos.)
My sister had her flight out of Kamloops canceled and made a trip down a closed highway in a blizzard in a vain atempt to get back into town in time to study for her exam today. Unfortunately, most of the material she needed was on her desktop computer, so much sadness and stress ensued. I have my fingers crossed for her today. :(
Anyway, I must return now to my So Dies the Fire adventures in darkland. More later.
