Eh. I judge adaptations of Sherlock Holmes by their Watsons. I'll be down with a movie that has a useful, interesting Watson instead of a bumbling piece of baggage. Watson might not be as smart as Sherlock, but that's rather like saying "not as energetic as a supernova".
