They had me at the Atlas thing - as everyone knows I'm a sucker for imaginary geography. But the Oxford twist? Way cooler.

That could be either cool or lame, depending on the amount of research that went into the real book and that will go into the script. If the three characters are just ciphers for the people they're supposed to be, then I cry Lame, but if the film actually gets into those individuals' paradigms (especially John and Jack's, since I know very little about Charles), then that could be *awesome*.

But I'm afraid the film might be closer to the former than the latter.
