Huh. I was asked at Chrysalis what I'd been doing laterly, and realized that the basic answer was "freaking out a lot." Not about anything terrificaly important either - two conferences in two weeks, the start of a semester, unplanned visits to the health center and mad chores have gobbled up a great deal of my mental energy. More than I should let them have, actually.

So, anyway. The conference went well - I think I'm getting better at those things. I came back to find a new Netflix movie, an Entertainment Weekly, and a certificate saying I was officially a PhD candidate in my mailbox. I think that's officially a good haul. :)

Bonus: the EW has a cover story on Project Runway. (Best. Realtity. Show. EVAR.) As for the PhD candidate certificate - eh, it might not get me much, but at least it made me feel lie I'd accomplished something.

Nah, I still love Rockstar Supernova and Who Wants To Be A Superhero? :)

Gah! Rockstar Supernova is 'orrible!

I do love me some Project Runway, though. My all time favourite reality show was porbalby For Love or Money just because of how sociopathicly mean and evil some of the contestants were.

Anyway, grats on the good PhD news and handling the conference well. You need to freak out less. And that's coming from me.
