Just watched MirrorMask...
It's a visually wonderful movie, and Gaiman's dialogue was great (see above quote), but the pacing was off. Still, it reminded me of some of the early Gaimain/McKean comic book efforts - far from classic, but you could tell there was something interesting there. I hope they follow the same interesting-to-fabulous trajectory with movies that they did in their previous medium.
On a completely different level, I loved the whole "Let's all run around wearing masks, talking about how we need to save the White Queen before the universe is destroyed" plot. Sounds like half the email in my in-box. :)
