Back from Chicago. Had a good trip, although I arrived on the wrong day to see things dyed green (le sigh). I managed to pay my first ever visit to the Field museum, where I got to finally see the lions of Tsavo (yes!) and the dog of Pompeii. I followed that with a "traditional Irish dinner" of cabbage and corned beef at a pub. It was, in other words, a day of long-dead animals.

In other news, I hadn't heard of the British drug trial incident. Pretty scary.
