akashiverWhile in Britain, I participated in Locus's roundtable on N.K. Jemisin, and had the pleasure of reading Jeffrey Ford, Maureen Kincaid Speller, and Rachel Swirsky's thoughtful analysis of Jemisin's work so far. I'm glad to see that the universe has responded to our well-wishing by rewarding The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms with a well-deserved Locus award for Best First Novel.
