I AM GRUMPY!!!!!!
This whole "getting snowed in" thing has got old. I might not want to go into campus to teach tomorrow (particularly now that I've set up the classes to meet online), but I'd like to be able to get out of the apartment.
Dear snow: you suck. You're not even blizzarding properly. You're just freezing rain, the limpest & lamest of all forms of ice. If you're going to keep me stuck inside, at least have the decency to *bring it.*

Send some trucks down - we've got more than enough snow here to donate to your cause. We could definitely give a foot, maybe more, and still have plenty to cause us headaches.
Being snowed in sucks, though. I'm ready to get out. I hope you manage to escape the apartment or at least get something pretty to look at while you're stuck inside.

I'm sorry, dear. I know what ya mean, though. We've got nasty slush-turned-ice under a thin layer of snow. Ick. It's really a shame we aren't in the same area to rescue one another from house-bound boredom.
PS I'm still *seriously* loving that icon. It's made of win
