Maybe they can get Uwe Boll to direct!

According to Variety, Universal Pictures genre label Rogue will distribute the video game adaptation Castlevania.

The script, by Paul W.S. ("the Hack") Anderson, spans many time periods but mostly takes place in 15th century Transylvania. It represents a fresh take on the much-filmed Dracula legend, mining back to its genesis in the story of the Romanian prince Vlad the Impaler.

"You could almost call this movie 'Dracula Begins,'" Anderson said.

Urrrrmm-hmmm.

Franklyn sounds more interesting.

Here at Frazzled Rock

I dance the dance of victory over the evil forces of stupid bureaucracy. Sure, it took an entire afternoon to sort out. Sure, I had to send a bunch of frantic emails from my workplace, trying to track people down who could help me solve my problems, being blocked at every turn. But in the end I *made it work.*

Tim Gunn would be proud.
