Completely random

OK. Felt like doing a completely random media-related post, so here goes:

Movie I am currently most interested in seeing:

Serenity, duh.

I's *like* to see Mirrormask, but I'm worried it's going to be pretty-but-slight. I generally prefer funny Gaiman or tragic Gaiman over arty Gaiman, though I'll take what I can get.

TV series I am most interested in watching:

A few weeks ago I'd have said "Lost," but since discovering the Smallville DVDs it's pretty much all Smallville, all the time. I haven't started watching the new season yet, and I understand the series goes downhill in season 4 but... whatever. The fact that a lot of the character's destinies are preordained adds an interesting layer to the show, making it closer to what Lucas's Star Wars prequels were trying to do than the actual prequels, imo. Anyway, I'm rooting for Lex Luthor to join the Side of Good at the end of the series, but I have a feeling that I'm doomed to disappointment. :)
