Hello all,
Many apologies to those who tried to contect me last week and got their emails bounced. The reason I fell behind on all things cyber-related is that I suddenly and more-or-less unexpectedly ended up in Mexico. And no, this doesn't happen to me very often, but you have to admit, it's a better excvuse than "I was lazy and didn't get around to deleting anything in my inbox."
Basically it's my sister's 21st birthday coming up, and my father found a last-minute fare to Puerto Vallarta and decided that, since the family was more-or-less in the same place for once, it was time to take our first family vacation in a number of years.
Anyway, I'm now back in Vancouver with a sunburn, numerous mosquito bites, a fake tattoo, and extreme braids. I managed to sunburn the top of my head (because of the braids - not used to the no-hair cover thing), and as a result the top of my head is very itchy right now and I don't dare touch it because of the braids which frizz and unravel at the slightest opportunity. So I'm basically in agony right now, but it was worth it.
Anyway, I'll post something on Puerto Vallarta later, although to be honest, I was in more of a "need sleep... sleep good" kind of mood over the week and so didn't really run around jotting things down the way I normally do. However, I did get to swim with dolphins, which was cool and will be talked about later. Right now I'm going to go and immerse my head in a bucket of ice water or something.
