Have you ever had one of those days when an irritating tune is stuck in your head and not only can you not get it out, but you can't remember what it is and where it's from?

I had a day like that, but it's over now. And I finally figured the damn thing out.

*ahem*

Poor little bug on the wall
No one to love him at all
No one to wash his clothes, no one to tickle his toes
Poor little bug on the wall!

(groan)

So here's a random quiz question: what's you favorite campfire song?

(C'mon. Fess up!)

Overheard at the the beach, where some macho guys were attempting to brave the freezing cold "summer" ocean:

Guy#1: I can't swim out there! I'm a smoker! Pack a day! I'll die!

(a few feet from sure on the return journey)

"I can't make it! Go on with out me! *Remember me as a heeeeeeeeeerrrrrooooooooo!*

Which impressed my brother no end, because there aren't any people who can perform ironic melodrama in freezing cold water.

**

My bug-on-the-wall problem has sparked an intense debate over the correct recitation of the following.

*ahem*

Fuzzy-wuzzy was a bear!
Fuzzy-wuzzy had no hair!
Fuzzy-wuzzy wasn't very
fuzzy. Wuz he?

My brother says the word "very" should be ommitted (Fuzzy-wuzzy wan't fuzzy.) He says the syllable count makes more sense that way.

*I* on the other hand, dragging out the podium of an English graduate student, maintain that a) syllables are fricking stupid and I don't care and b) its funnier that way and c) nyah nyah NYAH!
