Just heard news that I have the course assignment I wanted for next semester. Tres awesome.

Random factoid of the day:

Originally Bermuda was called the "Isle of Devils" because of the strange sounds heard from it at night. Between that and the many shipwrecks in its surrounding waters, European sailors regarded the Bermuda region with superstitious dread. As a result, nobody actually stayed overnight on the island until 1609, at which point an English vessal ran aground and discovered that "the Faeries of the rocks were but birds and all the Devils but herds of swine." So Bermuda was claimed, but the superstitions about its surrounding ocean lingered.
