Red n' tooth and claw

The chipmunks are out foraging in large numbers in B-town and the cats are taking full advantage. I've now come across two cats "playing" with chipmunks over the last few days. The first cat I managed to scare off so the chipmunk could escape, but the second was a lot more stubborn, and the chipmunk a lot stupider. We all chased each other for about 45 mins before I had to accept that the chipmunk (which had a broken leg by this time) was probably not getting away.
